Apple Blossom Time here in my spot in Ohio. I have a two dwarf apple trees and should be able to eat both Hulu and Gala apples when the fruit gets ripe. I also have a sour cherry tree that has blossomed and should be more than enough to make a cherry pie.
Gala apples are my favorite, but we don't grow apple trees down South. Very pretty blooms.
ReplyDeleteIf you like Gala then you should try Hulu. We like them both up here and while they are hard to find in the stores, we enjoy those when they are stocked. So that is one of the reasons why we planted the dwarf trees, hoping to have our own.
DeleteHow long does it take for the apples to ripen?
ReplyDeleteI doubt there will be enough to make a regular size pie, perhaps a small one and the other apple tree is a Fuji.
