We went walking and Patty looked for a stick to use as a kind of cane. Also, she thought she could use it to defend herself if she was attacked by wild creatures. As it turned out there were no really wild animals where we went so she was able to sit down, smile and relax.

My walking stick helps me when I get up |
I think that day at Aullwood Farms was the last day of my radiation treatments back in 2007.
ReplyDeleteYes, the last day. What an ordeal. Your first batch of treatments was for the breast on the other side back in 1996.
DeleteFortunately you are still with us, and you are very active!

She certainly takes good care of me, Wil.
DeleteIn top picture, I thought you was trying to fish off bridge. I'm surprised you both don't use a cane all time. I keep one on dash on all vehicles & use whenever walking more than 100'.
ReplyDeleteNo, we never use canes but Patty needed one or something to steady her feet as we crossed a small creek and then had to go up a dirt bank on the other side. She made it without any problems. She and I got to see the Tree Swallows on the other side.

I'm sorry you've had so many problems with your blog, Abe. I love these beautiful, loving photos of Patty.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry too. It got so bad, there for a while, that I just about gave up blogging altogether. I thought, "Who needs this?" But I still have thousands of photos and there is a story behind each one that will be lost when I am gone so I think it would be nice to record or publish a few.
